Gottfried and Mann – Doctors of Dentistry

Myron GottfiedDr. Myron L. Gottfried has practiced dentistry for over 30 years. Board certified, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1976. He has also received his fellowship from the ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists) in January of 2010.

A graduate of Loma Linda University School of Allied Health Professions with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, Dr. Gottfried then attended University of California Riverside and California State University San Bernardino. Upon completion of his requirements he was accepted at LLU School of Dentistry and graduated in 1976. He served on student government including a 1-year term as President of the Dental Student Association. Dr. Gottfried began practice in Asheville in January of 1977. He has been at his current office location since renovating the old Rogers House at 1415 Patton Avenue in 1980. Dr. Gottfried and his wife, Beverly, a Dental Hygiene LLU 1969 graduate, lived at this location until 1996. They have two daughters, Heather, an emergency room physician and Haley, a dentist. Dr. Gottfried and his wife Beverly own and operate THE FARM, an event facility located at their home on Justice Ridge Road in Candler. He also enjoys working with horses, woodworking, and fixing up old cars. Dr. Gottfried actively served as an associate professor of Restorative dentistry at LLU for 6 years, and a term as the president of the National Association of SDA Dentists. He has also completed all the requirements and received his Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in January of 2010.

Haley G. Mann

 

Dr. Haley Gottfried Mann was born and raised Asheville, NC. She grew up in the apartment above this dental office. Dr. Mann studied Art at Pacific Union College in the Napa Valley before deciding to change career paths to dentistry.

She attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2006 with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After completing school, Dr. Mann practiced dentistry in Nashville, TN and Carmel by the Sea, CA. She finally got smart and decided to move home to join her father’s dental practice on August 18, 2008. Dr. Mann enjoys creating art, running, music, and traveling.


Dr. Jordan Scott earned his doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry after completing his undergraduate studies at Birmingham-Southern College. After receiving an award in dental research, Dr. Scott completed a residency in advanced general dentistry where he focused on advanced implant placement and restoration, digital/CAD/CAM dentistry, hard and soft tissue augmentation, and intravenous sedation. As evidenced by his post-graduate studies, Dr. Scott is a committed and avid learner, continuing his education through membership in the American Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society and Spear study clubs.

Dr. Scott, along with his wife, Mary Catherine, and dog, Tom Hanks, moved to Asheville in 2015. In addition to dentistry, Dr. Scott has a wide range of interests; from hiking and fly fishing, to woodworking, to playing guitar and piano with his wife, it’s hard to find something he is not interested in!
